Welcome to the 1997 issue of Anatomy, new writing from Nottingham Trent University. What you have in front of you is the result of many months' discussion and deliberation on the part of the editorial team and we hope you enjoy it. Our intention was to showcase the variety of writing talent that closets itself away in various corners of NTU. We were delighted by the quality of the submissions and the obvious enthusiasm of those of you who responded to our request for work. Many thanks one and all. Inevitably we were not able to include everything we were sent but we have tried to be fair and representative. We hope you take as much pleasure in the end result as we did in its compilation.
